WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR A BELLY DANCE PERFORMANCE?
In my opinion, the best time is closer to the end of the dinner time, or later during the evening, when guests are more relaxed as they’ll be much more likely to participate and engage with the performance.
CAN YOU INVOLVE GUESTS INTO DANCING?
Yes, absolutely! I specialize in creating unforgettable moments by bringing everyone into the celebration. My approach centers on engaging the entire audience while honoring the bride and groom as the stars of their special day. Whether it’s inviting guests to participate in interactive segments, incorporating the couple’s love story into the performance, or creating spontaneous moments that get everyone laughing and cheering together, I believe the best entertainment happens when everyone feels included. I read the room, adapt to the energy, and ensure that both the wedding party and guests become part of the magic, creating memories that will last long after the music stops
CAN YOU USE PROPS IN YOUR SHOW?
Definitely yes. I always enter with some sort of an impressive prop: shamadan, candle tray, feather fans, LED ISIS wings. Silk veils are perhaps the most classic choice, creating flowing, ethereal movements that add drama and elegance to the dance. For a more dynamic show, consider incorporating a sword for sword balancing, which demonstrates incredible poise and control, or fan veils for spinning hypnotic patterns. Fire props like fire fans or palm torches can add an exciting, bold element in appropriate venues.
CAN YOU DO ANY OTHER STYLES OR FOLKLORE?
Definetely yes! I can incorporate so many elements in my show: Saidi, Baladi, Malaya Leff, Persin Dances, Fusion Shows, Fire Props, Big props, etc.
